MISSION

The Warming House is a non-profit organization that provides mentorship, builds self-esteem, develops identity and character, and emphasizes social responsibility for the community's teens.

WHO ARE WE?

The Center is a not-for-profit agency governed by a board of directors and staffed by paid professionals and volunteer college student interns. The Center is open to high school aged teens five days per week. We serve teens in the community who need a safe, supervised, and substance-free atmosphere, which promotes positive decision-making and development of healthy relationships. This agency gives teens a safe place to be, and to discover themselves. Every teen, whether they be our own or our neighbor's, deserves our support. Teens are welcome to come and go as they please, and to use the Center in whatever way best suites them. Whether playing pool, painting the walls, or chatting on the couch, teens build healthy relationships with staff and peers.

Our community has a lot of resources for teens. Some are well known and others are not. The lesserknown ones some times make the biggest impact. We don't always understand the impact they've made until years later when we hear that it was a lifeline for someone. Such is the Warming House Youth Center.
